Sri Lanka Cancer Society participated at the Medicare 2023- National Healthcare Exhibition organised by Asia Wellness forum , which was endorsed by Ministry of Health.
The event which was held over 3 days from 3-5 March Colombo at BMICH Colombo and the Cancer Society’s stall attracted large crowds. We displayed Digital Display Boards depicting moveable presentations on cancer and images of awareness programs conducted by Cancer Society island-wide. We also displayed TV programs done by the Society on Haritha TV and Verita’s You Tube Channel and drawings created by school children for our Art Exhibitions.
Our energetic Public Education Officer Mr. Merril Perera interacted with the visitors and provided explanations and answered their queries He was helped by Health Instructors from Public Health Department of Colombo Municipality and our own staff.
